Reiki and its dangers

As described in another passage, many of us used reiki while they were lightworkers. Some who managed to back out of the lightwork or esoteric had practiced reiki very intensely before, and had joined conforming workshops.

Therefore I’d like to start this chapter with an original quotation from a reiki’s white paper:

“Reiki is an ethereal and intelligent subtle energy – the source of all living. It’s all the energy that is being controlled by God (or a higher power, however you name it).”

Already you run into the biggest problem of reiki. The above quotation reveals the mind of the antichrist that is behind reiki. It has always been the devils main concern to make us believe in an un-personal godhood, some Higher power, some source of energy or something like that. By hook or by crook, Satan wants to avoid that we realize that Jesus Christ is the savior who became man, as God. Satan fears such realizations like he fears holy water.

The bible addresses this issue:

• “Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.” (1 John 4:1)

The following passage is about the characteristics revealing the mind of the antichrist:

• “This is the way to find out if they have the Spirit of God: If a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ became a human being, that person has the Spirit of God. If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, thet person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come into the world, and he is already here.” (1 John 4:2-3)

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he came as a man to open our eyes, for we shall see who is the true God.

• “And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we are in God because we are in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God and he is eternal life.” (1 John 5:20)

Easy to recognize, this doesn’t correspond with the reiki’s picture of God. Jesus Christ is anything but an anonymous godhood or a “higher power”. The idea of reiki shows a lot of unchristian characteristics. Reiki stands in alignment with other traditional esoteric techniques based on the promise that you will achieve great proficiency in creating your own life. Reiki for instance teaches how to make you a channel for an undefined “healing energy”. Even if reiki doesn’t promise to make healers out of people, it teaches that its disciples will be channels any time they want, for that anybody can be healed through their flowing energy. It implies the energy originating from God and will do good in any event. But, as we have seen above, the energy doesn’t come from the true God but is the antichrist’s spirit. It also mandates God supposedly needs a canal for healing. Certainly, God often healed in the past as he does today. The New Testament shows how often Jesus Christ healed people from maladies. But his healing has always been an act of sovereignty. He doesn’t need any channel to do so. He heals whenever he wants to. He has done this often when a person has asked for healing in prayer, as God is a God who loves to give cure. In fact, he is the mighty God of good. He also uses people for healing through them. The New Testament reports the healing of a crippled man through Peter and John (see Acts 3). Indeed, no one but God gives cure, no man could be able to cure out of his own human self nor to be a healing channel.

Thereto, the Old Testament shows a passage:

• “I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26)

God doesn’t depend on mantras nor symbols which are often used with reiki. He loves to answer sincere prayers, but you won’t achieve an aim by using symbols or mantras.
Yet the most fatal thing about reiki is the antichrist’s spirit whom you will open doors by using reiki. Like many esoteric systems, reiki starts quite softly most of the times. You may even experience certain initial success. The Holy bible describes the devils abilities to set up marks and miracles, and even healing to be apparent. But even by showing marks and miracles his only target is to win the human soul. Sometimes Satan tempts us with some nice decoy. But the upshot is always the same. There will be no real healing through reiki, instead of it things only get worse. But the worst is yet to come, when man will get lost forever because he had blundered into satanic trap.
